Privacy Policy
TOMOSHIBI collects no information about you.
Information we collect
None.
The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising SDK. Its App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”.
Data stored only on your device
The following is stored on your device and never transmitted anywhere:
- Session start time
- Session duration in seconds
- The ID of the selected scene
- Number of interruptions during a session
- The fire intensity reached
- Volume and haptic strength settings
All of it is erased when you delete the app. The developer has no way to recover it.
Network use
The app connects to the network only for App Store purchases (StoreKit) and to display this policy and the terms of use.
Purchases are processed by Apple. The developer receives only the fact that a purchase succeeded, and no information that identifies the purchaser.
Sensors
To detect that the device has been placed face down, the app uses the following sensors. All readings are used at the moment they are taken; none are stored or transmitted.
- Proximity sensor (iPhone only; iPad does not have one)
- Accelerometer, to read the direction of gravity (all devices)
- Headphone motion, only while AirPods are worn, to keep the fire in place as you turn your head
On devices without a proximity sensor (iPad), the app temporarily lowers screen brightness while face down, and restores it when you pick the device up.
Children
The app is not directed at any particular age group and collects no information from users of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Significant changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
